It's amazing how much a little thing sets me off. Sometimes, it's just a thought or a word, other times it feels like I am strangling in my own head. I guess that some things never truly change even though I know I have grown different from when I'm a kid. It's strange.

It feels weird, not to do that any more. But it's okay. I don't like using them anyways.

I think I talked better with him than I do with Zack. Maybe because he was there. Maybe.

I wonder how Tifa's doing. I miss her. I miss the kids. I need to keep busy though.

Cloud nudges the door closed and takes off the sweats he was wearing.

And there's one appreciative glance as he strips.

"Lestat on his walk?"

"If he knows what's good for him."

Cloud chuckled and stood for a moment looking at her before stepping into the shower.

"Hello, beautiful."

"Please. He'd be happy to stay behind and watch, the perv."

With a happy murmur, she wraps her arms around his shoulders.

"Mmmm, hello handsome."

"If he wants his time tomorrow with me, he better be gone."

He nodded, resting his hands on her hips and tugging her close.

"I'm feeling very selfish tonight."

"I'm sure he's gone. He said he would be. Besides, if he wanted to stay and watch, he would've said so."

She settles close enough that little water could get between them.

"How so?"

"True. He isn't one to stay quiet."

He brushed his lips against hers, teasing just a little as he answers her.

"Been wanting to be home alone with you."

"We'd hear him comment on our form or something like that."

The soft kiss is matched and she leans in for another one, deeper this time.

"I'm glad to know that. I was worried I scared you off the other night."
