148... what a night

[ video ]

[For the first minute, all that can be seen is wooden flooring and little black paws as they move on either side of the camera. Then there is a startled 'mrrreow' as something gray and furry gets under the camera and the view spins, showing floor, fur and claws and then settles halfway against the wall where a curious big blue eye looks at it and then a beak gives it a peck. The communicator spins again and lands against a boot.]

...Huh. So that's where it went.

[Now, there's a close-up of Cloud, looking a little tired, who then shakes his head, turns and heads for the two play-fighting cats.]

...Can't even leave it alone for f---

[...She was totally getting it until the big blue eye and the beak] A-- ...was that a bird?!

Choco...bo? [...] It sounds kind of tasty.

They're not for eating.

...You don't know what they are?

[identity profile] sweetfanatic.livejournal.com 2009-09-08 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Never heard of it! It sounds like something made of chocolate.

[identity profile] cloudsinstrife.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
They aren't. Just your average riding bird, really.

Like an ostrich?

Come to think of it, I dunno if people ride them, but I can't think of any other birds that big...

I don't know what an ostrich is, sorry. Here's (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y297/alec_shields/FFVII-Chocobo.jpg) a picture of one.

[Holy crap it's like a giant yellow chicken!]

[identity profile] sweetfanatic.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
...You've never seen one?

[identity profile] sweetfanatic.livejournal.com 2009-09-09 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
...Well I guess it looks kinda like that. So-- you ride them?

[identity profile] cloudsinstrife.livejournal.com 2009-09-10 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
Mm. We've got a racetrack with them here.
